WhatsApp is probably the most popular online messaging app. This might be because it is simple and easy to use while at the same time being more than simply a messaging app. WhatsApp lets you do so much more. You can share pictures, videos, and even documents. You can use WhatsApp’s voice messages feature if you don’t feel like typing. If you want more real-time options, you can use WhatsApp’s voice call or video call feature to talk to your friends and family directly.
It is a digital age that is running and people nowadays are fast getting used to having dual sim smartphones. This is helpful because you can manage your professional and personal lives on one phone. But unfortunately, you can use only one WhatsApp account on your phone. And, since most things happen over WhatsApp nowadays rather than through traditional messages or calls, it creates the desire to maintain 2 WhatsApp accounts which could make life easier for people.
Well, with the rapid advancement in WhatsApp which can be seen by the number of new features that have been added over the years, we can expect WhatsApp to make it possible in the near future. But, until such time, people have another way of doing it or rather, Android users have another option. What Android offers is Parallel Space, which is an app that lets you maintain multiple accounts in the apps available on your phone such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
How to have 2 WhatsApp Accounts on your smart phone:
- Open Google’s Play Store
- In the search box type in Parallel Space
- Install the app
- Open Parallel Space from your smart phone.
- Once the app is open, click on the Start button
- Now, click on ‘Apps’ icon
- Select WhatsApp from the list and Parallel Space will initiate a secondary WhatsApp account
- Open WhatsApp through Parallel Space
- Create a new account with a different number as you do normally with WhatsApp
- Freely use your new WhatsApp account
Because this WhatsApp is running only through the medium of Parallel Space, you might find a few problems such as delay in message delivery. There are few phones who have their own Parallel space alternatives and there are also other apps and tricks available for this purpose but most of them require your phone to be rooted.
Parallel space is the best in this regard because it does not require any rooting to be done. Unfortunately for iOS users, Parallel Space is available on Android at the moment but it can be said that Apple will be coming out with their own version soon.
